Come at Me Bro
May 2012 at 173 lbs. March 2013 at 151 lbs. Elapsed time ~ 10 Months. Weight loss ~ 22 lbs.
Fawk! Right? I am surprised how I looked yesterday morning as much as you are. My friend said, "Wow, really? I didn't know you had abs." I responded, "Thank you?", in which she let me know that is the closest thing I would get to a compliment from her. Little does she know, I am going to probably get more than a compliment from her in the future
.
I apologize for my morning Myspace photo on the right, but I take daily pictures of my progress. Narcissistic much? And when I dug up a picture of my old self, I was shocked of how I allowed myself to walk around before weighing so much. I remember then thinking that even though I was 173, I had a lot of muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, so it was kind of okay. Looking at the two pictures now, I can see how disillusioned I was. It was never okay.
So that really is the blog. Me flaunting my half naked picture of myself in the morning on Xanga. I am too much of a pussy to upload this to Facebook or Instagram, and look like a douchebag. With all my other sentimental posts on here, I can at least pretend that I am a half decent human being.
Pretty damn proud of my progress and definitely will work on getting better.
#luckygirls #xanga #hoing #gym
I provided some of my own tips on how I got to where I am today. That is not the point of the blog though. Please go back to the top and stare at the progress of my god-like body.
Diet. You can follow me on Instagram
and I eat what I likes. But I have some tips.
- No rice- Don't eat low-nutrient fillers. Eat the meat and the veggies. Toss the rice.
- Cheat - Eat what you want when you want. Better to cheat and keep going than to give up completely. This advice should not be taken into your dating relationships. I repeat do not take this as dating advice.
- Small changes make a big difference - Beer and chocolate is something I cannot give up. Heineken Light and Dark Chocolate it is!
Working out.
- Fawk the Cardio- It's all diet. You cannot eat an extra burger just because you went to the gym.
- Pick a sport you like- Rock climbing and yoga. I love this shit. For you, it can be tennis, basketball, hikes, and even sex. Sex is a great work out. Anyone need a partner? I am willing to jump start your work out routines.
Seriously though, I do not work out that much. At my peak, I was working out twice a week and now I work out about once a week. Find something you love and do it consistently. Losing 2 lbs each month does not sound like a lot, but give it a year and you will be more than happy with your results.
Weigh yourself daily. Daily! You don't know where you are unless you keep score. Everyday you will know if you are winning or losing. And don't be too concerned about the day to day fluctuations as much as the weekly and monthly ones. That is what matters most.
Now go get it! You can be sexy and join in on the Myspace morning photos too!

Awww snap, congrats on your change!
The sex part made me laugh. GREAT JOB DAVID! I think this is great. It's a wonder how much difference 5 or 10 or 20 lbs can make overall. I want to improve my diet as well because it's just such shit. I can blame it on college, but I wasn't eating great before either, I was just younger.
My brother did this craaaazy diet for a month where he only ate steamed or boiled vegetables and hard-boiled egg whites and cut out almost everything else. Occasionally he would indulge in rice, a little soy sauce, or white bread, but otherwise he cut out salt, sugar, meat, candy, junk food, fast food, restaurant food, not even sure if he ate much fruit, and he went to the gym everyday for at least 2 hours, I think. He went from a keg belly to six pack in 27 days. That's so crazy and probably unhealthy, but he did it as a bet with my cousin lol and he won $1000.
I really want to improve too because I know under my flabby exterior is a hot body! Somewhere under all these layers o_O. BUT HOW TO BEGIN?
Congratulations! I might add a tip: Cut out eating after 7 or 8pm...
The problem most people have is that they start out with grandiose goals, and when they don't meet them, they give up right away. Just start with small changes and it snowballs into a beach bod.
Lol well shit you are a beast haha
Hmmm I think I wanna do one of these also.
Looking good there boy! :)
assalamualaikum
Congrats! Keep up the good work!
Good job!!
cleanse, limit meat/dairy to 3/4 times a week, more veggies, walk/run every day for at least twenty minutes - every little bit counts and adds up, cold water to jump star morning, and a LOT of water in general.
good job! lookin pretty damn good!!
"Cheat - Eat what you want when you want. Better to cheat and keep going than to give up completely. This advice should not be taken into your dating relation" HAHAHAHAHAHA
im very into fitness also. i have to eat carbs every meal though, and for sports, i do swimming and sex, thinking about starting yoga. i also use the elliptical for cardio.
You weren't terrible before, but you look way way better now. Congrats on such progress! I'm surprised you got these kind of results after working out 1-2 times a week. I guess if you stick to something for so long, you're bound to have some results. That give me hope. It's fucking hard to give up carbs though, I'm asian...but I do know that's a key thing with diet. You are what you eat. Oh and btw I feel like girls can't completely forego the cardio. We naturally have a higher fat % than men so it takes more work to get cut like that.
Goodjob man. I don't mean to brag (but I am), I lost 20lbs in about 1-2 months. It's a great feeling, I really am proud of you man keep it up. DON'T GO BACK TO YOUR OLD HABITS DAMN YOU!
LOL congratulations man. I guess this means I can't tease you about wearing tight-ass gym shirts anymore lolol. Also, I like burgers :C CAN'T GIVE THEM UP EVER.
damn, pretty inspirational. i think i'm pushing 185 now... aiming to lose about 25 lbs too... and then add on 10 lbs of muscle mass. luckily, i'm motivated by this damn triathlon i'm training for....
Totes agree about the diet and working out! I've been 'eating clean' for about a month now and it's getting easier now just as a part of my lifestyle. I don't really deprive myself of any food if I really want it but I've completely switched over to brown/purple rice and whole grain bread instead of white and cut out dairy products except for greek yogurt cuz I love that stuff lol. I realized that too, no point in working out if you're eating bad food! and yes to picking a sport/activity!
Anyhow, keep it up!!
If we were some pretty close friends to one another, I would've admitted to the fact that you look like an eye-candy now.
As for exercise, I've figured that, the best and easiest way for me to be fit and stay fit, was to take nice long walks on a daily basis for I am way too lazy for any actual sport-like activity. But the way you do it is quite inspirational, so way to go!
Also, loved the humor in this post.
inspiring progress.
Oh my... this makes me realize I need to do something about my weight!
Congratulations, awesome job!
Good job, by the end of the month, you shoukd be swimming in Xanga pussy. lol.
bit of advise, eat high fat proteins like bacon and rib eye steaks. cheese is a great snack and mix it up with avocados and shit like lettus wrapped smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers.
Good job!
Great, now I feel fat.
