  • Lion King

    Poll: In the Lion King, was Simba happy when he was living in exile with his Hakuna Matata buddies or was it superficial happiness and was only truly happy when he returned home with his family and fulfilled his role as king?

  • Well, he was hesitant in going back because he had thought he was the cause of his father's death. I think being happy is a choice. Can't say if it was superficial or not, because we don't really know what Simba was thinking. I'm sure he probably missed his home when he was exiled. Hahaha...can't believe I'm analyzing a cartoon character =P.

  • Happier when he was carefree of course. It was his destiny to be king though. 

  • What is superficial happiness?
    I don't think there is a such thing as truly happy. You're just happier on some days than others.

  • everyone needs to go through different experiences. we are happy at different times for different reasons.
